Following the recommendation of heath consultant AM Trace, the City of Pearland is extending its current health and safety policy order to continue until 11:59 p.m. on December 19 following an increase in the 10-day average of active cases over the past two weeks.

CITY OF PEARLAND: Cullen Lift Station Overflow Due to Discharge Line Disconnection

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations (30 TAC 319) require that municipalities report wastewater collection system overflows to the local media and local officials when overflows exceed 50,000 gallons and the spill occurs within one-half (½) mile of a public or private source of drinking water.
