Bryan and College Station are teaming up to financially help local companies impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Public Health Reimbursement Grant Program, managed by the Texas Division of Emergency Management, began providing the newest group of grants on July 15. The TDEM is a state agency under the Texas A&M University System.
Applicants can apply for the grant and request funding for medical costs, public health expenses, payroll fees, and public health costs related to the COVID-19 pandemic. To qualify, the expenses must have been incurred between March 1 and July 15 of this year. Applicants will have to prove expenses with documentation. If any funds remain, another round of applications will be accepted in the coming months.
Applications are available until Aug. 3 at 2 p.m. Those interested can apply at the City of Bryan website or City of College Station website.
