City of Pearland issued the following announcement on April 16.
During the continued evolution of the COVID-19 global pandemic, the City of Pearland has been evolving its resources to keep Pearland residents informed so they can make the right choice with accurate and timely data.
Today marks a milestone in the evolution of local Pearland information resources with the launch of a custom-built interactive dashboard that provides a comprehensive view of COVID-19 case counts and COVID-19 related resource in Pearland.
“This dashboard is a great addition to our informational resources, enabling residents to quickly snap to the important information while giving them to opportunity to dig deeper into the data with its interactive features,” said Incident Commander Jason Jackson.
The dashboard was developed by the City’s Geographic Information Systems division and integrated into the City of Pearland website by the IT and Communications teams. It uses aggregated data from a variety of sources including Brazoria, Harris, and Fort Bend counties’ health partners and updates hourly.
