Bryan residents and businesses can take advantage of an extended electric rate reduction.
Bryan’s utilities organization created the 15% reduction by cutting the city's power supply adjustment by one-half, KXXV reported. Bryan Texas Utilities (BTU) is encouraging customers with outstanding balances to contact them for assistance.
Meanwhile, local businesses can receive aid through the federal Community Development Block Grant.
BTU will also offer renters assistance through the end of the year through the HOME Investment Partnerships Program grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
